Fountain Abbey June 2nd 2014 Today we all met up with Mel’s cousin Nicola and her kids for a picnic at Fountain Abbey. It is the ruins of an amazing old 11th century monastery with large sections of the structure still standing. In one courageous or completely out of our minds crazy leap my husband, our daughter and I have left our current place of residence, packed up our current lives and decided to take off to Europe for three and a half months.
We have no set plans beyond a return ticket in and out of Paris, the first 8 days accommodation and a car lease for the remaining 90 something days.
