Today we all met up with Mel’s cousin Nicola and her kids for a picnic at Fountain Abbey. It is the ruins of an amazing old 11th century monastery with large sections of the structure still standing. A couple of French guys were flying an 8 rotored heli-drone with a camera around the abbey which they said was for filming the Tour de France in a couple of weeks. Been There Licked That

In one courageous or completely out of our minds crazy leap my husband, our daughter and I have left our current place of residence, packed up our current lives and decided to take off to Europe for three and a half months. We have no set plans beyond a return ticket in and out of Paris, the first 8 days accommodation and a car lease for the remaining 90 something days.
