Today we tidied up and moved on to Mel's other uncle and aunt in Leeds. We broke the journey with a stop at Cannon Hall near Wakefield. With a pretty good playground and large parkland style gardens, it is the old estate of the Spencer family who controlled the region for about 400 years through their steel and mining businesses. Been There Licked That

In one courageous or completely out of our minds crazy leap my husband, our daughter and I have left our current place of residence, packed up our current lives and decided to take off to Europe for three and a half months. We have no set plans beyond a return ticket in and out of Paris, the first 8 days accommodation and a car lease for the remaining 90 something days.
