Most tourists visit the numerous ruins in the sacred valley on a whistle stop tour on their way to Machu Pichu but we decided to take our time and we’re glad we did. Our first destination was Ollantaytambo (Oy-an-tay-tambo) which is the first major town before or after Machu Pichu, depending which way you’re going.
