We'd been told to get there early. But the line was still long. Everyone wanted to try it. Where there's a queue in Bolivia there are vendors. Men, women and teenagers paced and hawked. I've always had wanderlust. Don't know where it comes from. When I was 26 I bought a 'round the world' ticket and flew off to New York. I thought after a year travelling I would have 'been there, seen it, done it' and it would be out of my system. Of course it didn't work like that. I travelled for two years and only went home when the money ran out. Then life took over for a few years, and travelling was confined to month long trips around Christmas, and shorter city breaks.
