Today was a 5.84 mile hike to Calf Creek Falls. Although relatively flat, the trail crosses many sand tracks making the hiking somewhat difficult. It was a hike of contrasts, starting very dry and hot, the trail eventually leads to the waterfall and a virtual oasis in the middle of the desert.
