Saturday, February 15 We went to the Ajijic Chili Cook-off. Jorge and Alejandra drove us to the water park which was where it was to take place. Rick and I are Canadians who retired in 1999. At that time Rick made me a promise that I would only see snow again should I wish too. I did not wish to then or now. We prepared our sailboat, Wind-Borne III (Bayfield 36) to sail south to the Caribbean. We lived aboard and island hopped in the Caribbean for 6 years and then in 2007 became part time cruisers, spending our winter months island hopping and the summer months back in Canada.
