Day 40 - final day in Khaolak, awesome sunset

Final day in Khaolak and Thailand. On the 26th December 2004 Khaolak was almost entirely wiped out by the boxing day tsunami. The visit to the tsunami museum was a moving experience, it’s difficult to fully appreciate the human and environmental impact. Ten years on everything seems flourishing and back to normal. The finches adventure

We are embarking on our 6 week adventure on the 5th of January. First flying directly to Dubai and staying for 2 days. Then we fly to Shanghai for 3 days, to Xian for 2 days, to Beijing for 4 days in which we are meeting up with Amy on the 12th. We then fly from Beijing to Hong Kong for 3 days, to Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) for 2 days, to Kota Kinabalu for 6 days, to Kuching for 6 days, to Bangkok for 4 days, then we are travelling overnight on a train to Chiang Mai.
