At cotton-harvest time, all students and teachers are still mobilized as unpaid labor to help in the fields. Uzbek cotton is even used to make banknotes in South Korea.

Be warned: lots of pictures of domes, minarets, blue mosaic and tiles. THIS is Samarkand!
