Memories of Tonopah, NV

Tonopah is another "gold" town that used to have thousand of miners at the start of the 1900s and today has only 2,000 people. It is north of Goldfield. It has the large "Tonopah Mining Park" with lots of century old leftovers from the mining days. In 1911 there was a big fire inside of one mine during which several miners died.
