Our son has deployed overseas. The night before he left, his Mother and I quietly packed his duffel in his room. Once littered with Goosebumps books, scuffed sneakers and noisy neighborhood kids it is now the quietest room in our home. I go inside once a month to vacuum and dust but I do not dwell there.
