Cha Am or Sha Aaaam as the locals say. December 15th 2013 For a break on the way to Hua Hin we stayed for 5 days in Cha Am. It seemed a good place to stop as it has a beach and hotels. It is two and a half hours by taxi from Bangkok airport and we negotiated a price of 2,000 Bahts (£40) for the journey.
