Garuda

One of my favorite Hindu deities has always been Garuda, who is Vishnu's mount. He is a combination of a bird and a man, and I first encountered him at Angkor Wat in Cambodia in 2005. This statue is in front of the Patan museum.

Welcomed home in Nepal
