Thursday: An early start saw us head off to a local diner for pancakes (not a small portion), bacon, maple syrup and endless coffee. The size and quantity of the pancakes defeated both of us - and we were also somewhat surprised that the locals placed the bacon on top of the pancakes and then smothered the lot in the syrup.
