Phoenix Beer - The famous beer of Mauritius

In Mauritius the most popular beer is Phoenix beer which has a nice light taste which goes nicely with the warm weather here. They have license and produce Guinness locally, not bad but the original one is better. It is actually a tourist attraction to go on a tour at the brewery. We are a Norwegian/Canadian 30-something couple that have decided to do some longer term travelling before settling down. With no kids or mortgage, we recognised it wouldn't get much more convenient as we got on in years. Whatever happens, we are looking forward to a great learning experience.
