More than the famous camels of Cable Beach

Other than the camels of Cable Beach, we knew little of this coastal town. Oh, we remember cyclone warnings too, but knew little else. The drive from Karratha to Broome is through arid scrubby country, and only occasionally was land methodically farmed.
