So much snow and no skis! 15"...

of snow the night before. Think they've had around 5ft so far this winter, and it's only December. It's about 2 hours drive from LA and the beach.
So much snow and no skis!

December 18th 2006
Day 2 we drove right through LA to the other side, and the Big Bear Lake area in the San Bernardino mountains. We'd planned to see if we could find some skis and a slope and have a go, but in the end it was too cold, especially since we don't have any salopettes with us...
