After checking out the fishing status out on the Homer Spit and we headed to the Boardwalk Bakery. The bakery is owned by Jackie Johnson. Jackie is a family friend we met in San Antonio 5 years ago. Ten years ago she fell in love with Homer. Then four years ago she found the bakery for sale, so she quit her job, bought the bakery and moved to Homer. She is living out a life long dream.
