ST Lawrence rough weather

Yesterday was a bonus day. The weather forecast was predicting bad weather but it turned out to be very good weather. A little rough at first but once we rounded the corner at Pointe au Mont, the seas calmed. We had several anchorages picked out but every time we passed one, it was too early and nice to stop. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida.
