Beautiful scenery

We left Tadoussac at 12:30 after visiting the whale interpretation center. We could see lots of Belougas in the distance. Tadoussac is a quaint little tourist town, well worth visiting. We asked locals including the coast guard how we should plan our departure from the Saguenay River and most said check the time of high tide at Pointe-au Pere and leave 2 hours after that. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida.
