Captain Jerry is making North Star ready for our travel to Newfoundland while the First mate runs around Kingston and Belleville Ontario, visiting family and re-provisioning. We expect to be anchored and docked in remote locations where provisions will be scarce so we are stocking up. We are newly retired and ready to cruise! Our 32 foot Cape Island trawler, North Star, will be our summer cruiser in Canada and our 44 foot Marine Trader, Hemingway, is our warm climate cruiser, presently in Florida. Our land home is a small cottage outside of Lewisporte, Newfoundland, Canada. We hope to join cruising regattas organized by the Lewisporte Yacht Club members as they explore the Bay of Exploits, some of the best northern cruising grounds.
