Day 2 in Nagano and not really even spent in Nagano but outside the city. The Rough Guide – which as usual picks the eyes out of the best things to do I must say (it may be 1999 edition but as they say only the prices have changed) – said best day trip was out to shrine at the alpine area of Togakushi.
