The story of the Watchman (through my eyes!)
Ah Yes. This photo is my favourite from my time in Varanasi. There was something so beautiful and serene about this particular morning. We had just watched the sunset along the Ganges and were heading to grab breakfast at a cute little cafe. On our return to the guest house, I noticed this man. He was just sitting there...so calm and so serene. The mystery was that I couldn't see his face. As these people passed in their boats, the man appeared to be watching over them. It was such a moment in time. I don't know where the boat had been, or where it was going but I have a feeling this old man did.
