So over half a year since I returned, and about as long since my last, I have finally got around to putting up my last blog. I have also managed to write up some of the entries I had in notebooks; it feels like some kind of closure. I arrived in Uganda in January 2011 with my girlfriend Lauren through Inter Cultural Youth Exchange UK (ICYE) to work for UYWEFA, a small community-based organisation in Kazo, Wakiso District (a small village / suburb outside Kampala) and lived with a Ugandan family full-time for 6 months.
