Being in and around the Waitakere ranges it was almost impossible to believe that the hustle and bustle of the city was only about 20 minutes away. For city dwelling Aucklanders, this must be an amazing thing to have on your doorstep for your weekends and spare time. Hi, Welcome to our blog. Having completed a 9 month trip to the US, Australia and SE Asia in 2005, we were truly bitten by the travel bug.
