Why did we choose to spend our Christmas Day in San Diego? Because the zoo is open, of course! (Not just any zoo, but arguably the best zoo in the U.S., if not the world.) We are a family of 5, traveling to see life outside of our own neighborhood. We plan to home school our kids and use travel to provide educational and fun field trips for our family (parents included).
