Cabo de la Vela to Coro. Monday 17th Dec 2012. We left Maicao for the 12 km drive to the border at 9am via a Por Puesto ( very old ,fallen to pieces taxi car). They drop you off at the border and you go thrugh immigration to get your Colombian exit stamp. Then we walked about 50 metres to get our Venezuelan entry stamp. Back in July 2011, Trevor & I started our life time dream of travelling the world....we decided back in Febuary 2011 to sell everything back in Australia after being in business for 10 years and working hard to achieve our goal, our dream of travel. We started our original 6 week holiday in Canada, Alaska & Los Vegas before heading to Mexico to do a TELF coarse in Chiapa de Corzo, Mexico.
