Salma Hayak, Gunfights, DMV, and an Epic Road Trip

After nearly a 4000 mile road trip, we have reached our new home in San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. We left Merida, Mexico for Texas to have our car repaired. YOU DESERVE THE BALLOONS
Talk about a round trip...Merida to San Miguel de Allende...the long long way...sounds gruelling but fun. You must love that car! Your new home looks amazing. Enjoy.

Love the car?
Thanks for writing, Dave - it mean a lot. I'm not sure if we "love" the car. I think it's more a matter of cost. It would cost us more if we were to buy a used car and then register it. We also found out that it normally takes 4-6 weeks to get a title for a car - something you need in Mexico and Central America!
