After a week of unpacking the van and stuffing the boat with all the stuff we think we need, we were able to leave Portsmouth, RI on Oct 23, at about 11 AM. After an uneventful trip with mostly light winds, we arrived in Cape May, NJ the morning of the 25th only to discover the updated path of Sandy - ugh!
