Carbon dating places the construction of this ancient political and religious center at more than 1000 years old. The biggest mystery is how the multi-ton basalt stones were moved here and stacked - especially considering the lack of human and technological resources.

A toast to where, what, who??? To Pohnpei, a small island located about 7 degrees north of the equator on the far east side of the Micronesian Islands in the southern Pacific ocean.
