We decided to take a train to Dali. We actually wanted to take a taxi but the lady in the hotel reacted with horror. She seemed to think that the expense was much too much for us. Maybe something in our appearance? So we arrived at Lijiang’s very modern train station, only to find we had to get our cases up a near vertical flight of stairs to get to the platform. Travels with Faith

I always wanted to travel and left Australia when I was 18 to travel around Europe and Asia, working on the way in London and Amsterdam, before settling down in Tel Aviv.
