We left Budapest from the Zapadni Kolod train station, Budapest’s newer rail station. Not built in the classical style architecture of the older station we arrived at with its soaring ceilings and sculpted exterior detailing this new station is more contemporary poured concrete and although much newer it is not aging anywhere near as gracefully as its predecessor.
