We travelled to Kanchanaburi to visit the Tiger Temple there, supposedly run by monks, however after arriving and reading up about the place we decided it was far to controversial for us to visit. Instead we went to see the Bridge over the River Kwai and the Death Railway which was very educational! Built by POW during WW2 the bridge cost over 100,000 lives because of its poor working conditions. ... read more
