So here we are approximately 4,000 miles from home. We left at 5:30pm yesterday and arrived in our guest house 22 hours later, after 12 hours flying on two flights, 8 hours waiting around airports (but we did have a lovely meal in Gordon Ramsey’s Plane Food at Heathrow terminal five) and two taxi journeys, we are ready to start our holiday and by now we are more in need of one than when we left. ... read more
