Final day of the trip - and what a wonderful ending. My lovely hotel is about a 20 minute walk to the Dublin Zoo, with a charming Victorian Tea Cottage along the way. Both are located in Phoenix Park, a huge complex of sporting fields, gardens, walkways, and the zoo. In search of Margaret Campbell ... One of my earliest memories (age 4) is standing at the bedside of my dying grandmother - Margaret Theresa Campbell - and her reaching out to touch my hand. Earlier this year I again felt her reaching out, and knew that I needed to return to her homeland - County Louth, Ireland - to try to bring a part of her spirit home.
