The end of the road. We went to Homer Alaska today which is at the end of the Sterling Hwy. on the Kenai Pennisula. This is about 80 miles from where we are in Kenai. Homer is the Halibut Fishiing Capital of the World. At the end of the road in Homer, there is a narrow piece of land called a spit that extends about 2 1/2 miles into Kachemak Bay of Cook Inlet.
