I spent my first day in Potosi organizing a mine tour for the following day and also a tour of Salar del Uyuni (Salt Flats). I am heading off to South America for 3 months on what will hopefully a great adventure with minimal complications. I figured that writing a blog would be the best way for all of my family and friends to travel with me, and see that I am still alive and haven't been kidnapped or shot with poison darts.
