The drive from Kumamoto to Sakurajia was quite scenic. Yatsushiro, Hitoyoshi and Kirishima were all beautiful places. Sakurajima is an island with active volcanos. Whenever there is volcano there is onsen water. This is why we are here - to try the famous onsen by the sea Furusato Onsen. It was gonna be our once-in-a-lifetime experience. a house somewhere

This blog will be about places in the world that I find interesting. I haven't been to that many places but I figured it's better to start now as random thoughts occur from time to time and there is a risk that I will forget about them. I have a job in Sydney so some of my trips will be in the surrounding areas but I do try and go overseas whenever I can. Australia is a great country but it's quite far from the rest of the world.
