Beppu is another top ranked onsen town in Kyushu. It is famous for its large amount of volcano spring water. As we were walking on the street, we can see steam coming up from the gaps in the ground. a house somewhere

This blog will be about places in the world that I find interesting. I haven't been to that many places but I figured it's better to start now as random thoughts occur from time to time and there is a risk that I will forget about them. I have a job in Sydney so some of my trips will be in the surrounding areas but I do try and go overseas whenever I can. Australia is a great country but it's quite far from the rest of the world.
