The first time I saw the word Hakata is on a Ramen menu. My impression of Hakata ramen is a light noodle soup with a few slices of pork and dry seaweed on top. a house somewhere

This blog will be about places in the world that I find interesting. I haven't been to that many places but I figured it's better to start now as random thoughts occur from time to time and there is a risk that I will forget about them. I have a job in Sydney so some of my trips will be in the surrounding areas but I do try and go overseas whenever I can. Australia is a great country but it's quite far from the rest of the world.
