We arrive in La Paz which must of been the longest and roughest bus/train journey in the world so far. La Paz is a busy modern city and is the highest capital in the world (The city is at nearly 4000 m above sea level). The alcohol her seems to go straight to my head here and it feels hard t breathe. Seems a good place to adjust to the climate before we tackle Macchu Picchu on the journey ahead. ... read more
