Tomorrow we are off to Victoria to catch the Black Ball ferry to Port Angeles. We will then drive to Olympia , WA to get on US 5 which will take us to Newport on the coast. The next day we will start our cycling trip down the coast (about 212 miles) to Brookings which is just north of the California border. Lets hope the weather holds. We did the Dingle Way Walk in May and spent a few days in Northern Ireland (and Ireland) which got me to 108 countries. Travel is a bit challenging for those of us who have to use Canadian airlines-not sure why Air Canada and Westjet are so bad. Over the past year, my best flights have been with Luftansa, Air France and Ryanair. Trains are also a great way to travel. We are planning a house trade this winter so we can spend some time skiing at Soverign Lakes near Vernon. A trip to Melaque may also be in the offing.
