Almost time to leave. Bags are packed to overflowing with our first stop Dubai. Left the cold of an early Canberra winter and arrived in Dubai to 34 degrees at 5 am. After a slow immigration process we were taken to our hotel and although we couldn't checkin were given access to the showers in the fitness room and a lovely cup of hot tea. Felt human again.
