Started a new life chapter in 2009 and loving it! Bye Bye China (since 2003) and the world of Communication and welcome to the Humanitarian world! Where? I took your advice and waited to see how it goes in Syria, before making my decision to go there or not. As you likely guessed, I didn't go there. I stayed in Istanbul instead, which is a beautiful city, georgous in fact. I even met somebody there who suggested I go to Syria with her, as she was going there soon, but I decided to stay in peaceful Istanbul instead. :)
