Spring Canals and Castles (well one) April 14th 2012 Its been a quiet start to the year hiking trip wise so with spring poking it's head above the rampants (often to just be shot down with icy weather and occasional snow storms) it was time to strap on the hiking boots and join one of my groups for a relaxed day hikes in the countryside to ease my way back into the habit.

An Aussie living in London and getting out it as much as possible to explore all the amazing places both in the UK and abroad. While I may be quite settled in the UK, my feet never seem to settle and my wandering heart drags me all over the globe and back to some well loved areas.
