Our newest friend and triathlete, Josh, picked us up at 6:30am to drive to Mandurah for a mini tri-athlon. As middle-aged travelers and tri-athletes we made a point to connect with tri-clubs in Western Australia who warmly welcomed us to local events. We are travelers who prefer to visit with locals rather than local attractions. Our choice is to stay in small towns and rural communities, and regional parks.
