After 3 days in Bryon Bay it was time to continue our way up the coast, booked yet another trip with our Grey Hound bus pass, this time from Bryon Bay to the Gold Coast. About me I grew up in far North Queensland in a little town called Mareeba, 6000 population, where sugar canes and mango plantations dominate the local landscape. Lived in Cairns, at Parramatta Park for a few years and then moved to the Gold Coast to play tennis. Tennis had been the dream for a long time, dreamt of turning professional one day, got a decent ITF juniors ranking, but injuries had the final say.
