Monday Day Two Alarms started buzzing and beeping around 6am and tent zippers followed soon after. I didn’t sleep as well as I would’ve liked but the warm shower soon sorted that. Having grown up in Australia, I had no idea that when I left in December, 1998, I wouldn't go back. After working and travelling in the northern hemisphere for over 13 years, I then quit everything to travel through Africa in 2012.
