We made it! (Days 1 and 2) March 15th 2012 Wow, the last 2 days seem like a blur right now, mostly because they kind of blur together. Our flights from DFW to Newark and on to Milpansa airport in Milan were mostly uneventful with the kids. They handled the long day very well, and even a delayed dinner on the transatlantic flight was taken in stride. We are a family of 5, traveling to see life outside of our own neighborhood. We plan to home school our kids and use travel to provide educational and fun field trips for our family (parents included). We enjoy traveling to places where we can see people living everyday lives and generally stay 'off the beaten path' as far as tourists go, but are always up for a popular Cheezburger dive or dessert find.
