Looking back to where we had just walked from it looked like a ghost town. The store with the red sign was my closed knife shop. Up on the hillside is the casino and hotel we stayed at on one of our first trips to Austria. The first time I ever had meat fondue was up there. If I remember right, we got an amazingly cheap rate using our airline employee discounts. Now we count our pennies and stay 45 minutes away in little Pensions and Gasthauses.
The Hills Are Alive with the Sounds of Mucus February 19th 2012 It was another night of hacking and wheezing on my part. I'm fine all day but as soon as I lay down I start coughing. It must be the down or feathers in the comforters. I still got adequate rest but I'm not so sure my mother was getting much of a vacation out of this.
